The vessel arrived with severe corrosion damage along the lower hull plating and sections of weakened steel around the ballast compartment. Intsimbi was contracted to assess the damage, remove compromised steel sections and fabricate replacement hull plates to restore structural integrity before the vessel returned to operation.
